1. Don't Be Stupid!
2. Be polite to
Waiters,
they 're polite to you.
3. They are human, human make mistakes.
4. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on
them. they didn't do it.
5. Realize that you are most likely not their only
customer. Be courteous to everyone else. If you're
gonna take forever, let someone else go.
6. Realize that most managers make just as much, if
not more than, you do.
7. Don't get mad at them when they offer you
something that you didn't order. It's their job!
That's how they make more. That's how they
get raises.
8. If you want a sandwhich with only catsup, don't
say, "Plain, only catsup." IF IT HAS CATSUP, THEN IT
ISN'T PLAIN!! Most people are pretty fast at the
registers. If you say plain first, we hit plain
first. Then they have to go back and change
it.
9. Tell them the special order right away. If you
wait, the kitchen will have already started making
it regularly.
10. BREAKFAST ENDS WHEN IT ENDS AND LUNCH STARTS
WHEN IT STARTS. Don't cry if you come too late for
breakfast. If you want it so bad you should come
earlier.
11. Don't ask us how much something is. YOU'RE the
one with a menu infront of your face. They don't
memorize prices.
12. Make sure you get a receipt! If we mess up, and
you come back without areceipt or without calling
immediately, you're out of luck.
13. Don't get mad if we ask you to pay for extra
condiments. they don't get them for free, they
can't let you have too many for free. (Unless you'd
rather us raise the menu price for an item to cover
the charge of lots of condiments)
14. It's not very hard to say "Thank You" to them
every once in a while.
